11 MUST-TRY Smoothie Bowls in Canggu

Kynd Community – best smoothie bowl in Canggu

Kynd Community is not only home to the best smoothie bowl in Canggu, it’s also one of the cutest restaurants we’ve ever stepped foot in. It is a fully plant-based restaurant grounded in the mission to be kind – how simple and beautiful is that?

Although it’s one of the priciest smoothie bowl on this list, it’s absolutely worth it! The smoothie bowl is packed with flavor and comes decorated with insanely fresh fruit and granola. The portion size is also perfect either for 1 person as a meal or to split as a dessert.

Pro tip: while the default smoothie bowl will spell “KYND”, you can ask them to write your name, Instagram handle, etc on it! Hence why ours says LHTO (Love Hard Travel Often).

While the food is incredible, the service, decor and attention to detail here really secure this spot as the top on our list. For example, they have guys who stop traffic to help you turn into the restaurant and park. They will also notify you if a more “instagrammable” table becomes available and help you move your things. Talk about service!

Give Cafe

Give Cafe is Kynd Community’s sister restaurant, so it’s no wonder this spot is just as delicious and adorable. The smoothie bowl here comes in a fun furry coconut that gives it a fun rustic island vibe. Similar to Kynd Community, Give Cafe’s smoothie bowl is packed with flavor and fresh ingredients.

What makes Give Cafe so special, though, is that 100% of the profits go to charity! They’ve chosen 3 charities for the proceeds to go to – one for the planet, one for the people and one for the animals. That said, when you make a purchase they give you a ‘token‘ and you get to choose which of those 3 your meal goes towards. Such an absolutely brilliant concept, right??

Balibola – most instagrammable smoothie bowl in Canggu

While it’s no secret that Balibola is one of the most instagrammable cafes ever, we were honestly a little surprised at how delicious the food was! Although it’s on the pricier side, the taste is just as impressive as the presentation. And while it’s a tad outside of Canggu proper, this spot is totally worth the drive!

The Loft

The Loft is certainly home to one of the best smoothie bowls in Canggu. In addition to having one of the largest selections of flavors, The Loft also really packs on the toppings (definitely the way to my heart!). This spot is also a fantastic place to work or people watch, and if you stay here long enough you can just work your way through taste-testing all of their flavors!

Pro tip: you can get custom fruit letters on your smoothie bowl here like you can at Kynd Community! Just ask them 🙂

Satu Satu

The smoothie bowl at Satu Satu Coffee Company certainly wins big points for presentation! The Rainbow Jug is layered with 3 different types of delicious smoothies and then topped with fruit, chia seeds, coconut and granola. This spot also has incredible coffee and is a lot less touristy than many of the Canggu restaurants.

Peleton Supershop

Peleton Supershop is home to one of the most unique smoothie bowls we found in Bali! The Blue Island bowl is filled with bananas, cashews, vanilla and blue spirulina which gives it a unique and creamy flavor. While it’s the most expensive on this list, the portion size is HUGE. They also decorate the top like an ocean with dolphin-shaped dragon fruit and papaya palm trees, which is such a fun touch.

DuaTiga

The smoothie bowls at DuaTiga are certainly the most budget-friendly! While the flavors don’t pack quite the same punch as some of the others on this list, this Canggu smoothie bowl has a secret ingredient – protein powder! And you can even add an extra scoop of it for only 10K IDR. So if you’re looking for a smoothie bowl with good macros, vibes and price, definitely check out DuaTiga.

Cinta

Cinta is a great cafe with rice field views on the Berawa side of Canggu, and their smoothie bowls are certainly worth trying! While they only serve them in the morning, it is worth getting here for breakfast to grab a delicious Bee Morning Bowl in their signature heart-shaped bowl. It’s packed with flavor and the chia seeds and bee pollen on the top make it super unique.

Crate Cafe

Crate Cafe is one of the most popular spots in Canggu, and it’s for good reason! Their food is affordable and delicious and they have a great vibe. Their Hipstar smoothie bowl is overflowing with delicious and unique toppings like seeds, fruit and cashews, so it’s definitely worth trying!

Nude

Nude is a super cute cafe in Canggu and is a great place to work. While their toppings could use a little help, the overall taste of their Pitaya bowl is delicious!

Lola’s Shakin All Day – best value smoothie bowl in Canggu

Lola’s Shakin’ All Day is one of the best breakfast deals you’ll find in Canggu. While their smoothie bowl portion is a tad small, it comes as a 3-part breakfast combo all for 50K IDR! Also, their decor is all hot pink and the owners are total sweethearts.

Overrated smoothie bowls in Canggu

While they had been highly recommended, unfortunately a few of the smoothie bowls we tried felt very overhyped.

Nalu Bowls was certainly the most overhyped in our opinion. We ordered The Maverick bowl and even though it was their signature bowl, the flavor of the smoothie and the granola were both disappointing. Also, there weren’t great seating options, parking was tough to find and it was pretty pricey.

Cafe Organic was another disappointment because their bowls were very bland in flavor and the service was very poor. Ruko Cafe was also a bowl we’d skip since their flavors were similarly pretty bland and the granola was overly chewy.

With so many amazing smoothie bowls in Canggu to choose from, we certainly want to make sure you don’t waste your time on ones that are sub-par!
