Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower bites are such a fun snack to have at home or as an appetizer at a party (once we’re allowed to have those again!). Here’s our favorite recipe and step-by-step directions for how to make it!

Cauliflower has had such a glow up in recent years, am I right?! You can literally turn it into anything. That said, I saw a million and one recipe videos on TikTok during quarantine claiming they were the best buffalo cauliflower recipe. Naturally I had to try them all. And this, my friends, is the recipe that takes the cake!

It is so incredibly crunchy and delicious, and honestly SO filling. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Recipe and directions

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 cups chopped cauliflower
  • 1 cup flour (or GF flour)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (Trader Joe’s sweet potato chips are my fav)
  • 3/4 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s buffalo sauce
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425º
  2. Wash and chop your cauliflower into bite size pieces
  3. Mix flour, water, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl
  4. In a separate bowl, crush up a few handfuls of chips
  5. Coat a baking sheet with foil and spray coconut oil
  6. Coat each piece of cauliflower in the flour mixture
  7. Then coat with crushed chips and place on the baking sheet
  8. Put tray in the oven for 15 minutes
  9. Mix buffalo sauce and coconut oil in a bowl and microwave for 20 seconds
  10. After 15 minutes, pull out the cauliflower and coat each piece in buffalo sauce
  11. Cook another 15 minutes
  12. Broil for 2 minutes
  13. Let cool & enjoy!
